A very British Biennale

The British Council commissioned Cultureshock to make four four-minute films, profiling the artists representing Britain, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland at the 2009 Venice Biennale.

Among them were Turner Prize and Cannes 'Camera D'or' winner Steve McQueen (GB) and legendary musician John Cale (Wales) Filmed and edited on location in Venice, the films give a fascinating insight into the work of 4 very different artists, as their exhibitions open at the world's most famous art festival.
