The emergence of webcasting, video podcasts and other digital technologies has created exciting possibilities for new kinds of 21st century arts and cultural TV programming. Cultureshock Media is working to develop new programme strategies and formats with galleries and museums, commercial companies and other broadcasters who are at the vanguard of this shift.
In 2008, the V&A asked us to develop a strategic vision - and a series of short films - for the museum's new on-line broadcasting strand.
Cultureshock Media also continues to conceive, develop and produce one-off programmes and series for different broadcasters. These include Saved for the Nation, a spectacular 10-part series about the history of the British National Art Fund in 2006 and Kylie: Cultural Icon, an intriguing 23-minute film for Sky Arts, written and presented by leading music and cultural critic Paul Morley in 2007.
