25x4 is a 423-page book commissioned by Channel 4 to celebrate its 25th anniversary. Jointly edited by former Independent and Daily Express Editor Rosie Boycott and Cultureshock Media’s regular editorial collaborator and associate, Meredith Etherington-Smith, the book sets out to reflect the creative approach that has characterised C4 in the quarter century of its existence.
25x4 is an eclectic, illustrated collection of essays, articles and interviews, photographs and visuals, loosely grouped around twenty five social, political and cultural themes - issues that have never been far from the centre of national debate in the time Channel 4 has been on air. The eye-catching and distinctive large-scale design was created by Spin.
Cultureshock Media's team oversaw and managed the creation of 25x4 from its conception through the commissioning and editing process to its production and distribution, working hand in glove with the editors, the designers and of course with Channel 4.
